தூங்குக தூங்கிச் செயற்பால தூங்கற்க
தூங்காது செய்யும் வினை.
தாமதித்துச் செய்ய வேண்டிய செயல்களைத் தாமதித்தே செய்ய வேண்டும். தாமதிக்காமல் செய்ய வேண்டிய செயல்களைச் செய்யத் தாமதிக்கக் கூடாது.
हिन्दी (Hindi)
जिन कामों में देरी की जा सकती है, उनमें देरी करो;
लेकिन जिन कामों में देरी नहीं करनी चाहिए, उनमें देरी मत करो।
जो कार्य विलंब से किए जा सकते हैं, उनमें विलंब करें; लेकिन जो कार्य बिना विलंब के किए जाने चाहिए, उनमें विलंब न करें।
English
In things that may be done with slowness, slow be found;
In things that may not be delayed, let no delay abound.
Delay in those things that may be delayed; but do not delay in those things that must not be delayed.
